  31.                            SO, HERE'S WHAT TO DO !

  33.    >>> If you are installing this program from DOS,
  34.        just type INSTALL and press the ENTER key, 
  35.        then type START or HTML to begin the program
  36.        from within the directory you chose to place the files.

  38.    >>> If you are installing this program from WINDOWS 3.1
  39.        simply double-click on the INSTALL.EXE file located in this archive,
  40.        or choose RUN from the Program Manager's FILE menu and select
  41.        INSTALL.EXE from the drive and directory where this file is located. 
  42.        The program itself runs in DOS, but will shell out appropriately,
  43.        install the program files where you want, and create an icon in
  44.        the Program Manager for you. Make sure you are using the native
  45.        Win 3.1 Program Manager as your shell, or the install utility may 
  46.        not function properly.

  48.    >>> If you are installing this program from WINDOWS '95
  49.         -simply click on the INSTALL.EXE file located in this archive, or
  50.        choose RUN from the Start Menu and use the BROWSE button to locate
  51.        the INSTALL.EXE file.
  52.        The program itself runs in DOS, but will shell out appropriately,
  53.        install the program files where you want, and create an icon in
  54.        the Start Menu for you.

  56.        NOTE: when the program first installs and extracts the program 
  57.        files, it will do so in a DOS window, and does not automatically 
  58.        close. 
  59.        This is the default for Win '95. Close it yourself when it 
  60.        completes with the X in the upper right-hand corner of the 
  61.        window. After that, the program will begin to run in another 
  62.        DOS window. Enlarge the window, and use your down arrow to 
  63.        choose EXIT THIS PROGRAM from the main menu.
  64.  
  65.        Then, once the icon is created in the Start Menu, click the
  66.        icon to highlight it, and edit the PROPERTIES. Doing this
  67.        procedure in Windows '95 will allow you to choose the program
  68.        from the Start Menu and have it shell out full-screen in DOS.

  72.                      To get to the icon's Properties:
  73.             Once the icon is colorized (selected), you can either
  74.              1. Hold down the ALT key and press the ENTER key
  75.              2. Hold down the ALT key and double-left-click with
  76.                    your mouse
  77.              3. Right-click and choose the last item, PROPERTIES.
  78.  
  79.                     Now, edit the properties as follows:
  80.              1. Click the PROGRAM tab, and at the bottom, select
  81.                 "CLOSE ON EXIT"  That way when you end the program,
  82.                 it will hop right back into Windows and close itself.
  83.              2. Select "MAXIMIZED" from the RUN selection box.
  84.              3. Now click the SCREEN tab, and select "FULL SCREEN"
  85.  
  86.               changing these minor elements in this program and in
  87.                 many others will simplify running under Win '95 
  88.        [If you are using an alternate shell such as Norton Navigator,
  89.        Dashboard, or other replacement, the install program may not 
  90.        work. In that event, revert to the native '95 shell and try again]
